The project leaders of the Valais Wallis Timemachine kindly invite you to the exhibition opening of a new sub-project of the initiative, giving an overview of the history and evolution of the constitution of the canton of Valais from 1907 to the present day. Thanks to digital tools, it enables visitors to understand the connections between constitutions and legal texts, research the archive from 1907 and take a look behind the scenes at the work of the drafters of the constitution. The exhibition has been compiled in close cooperation with the State Archives of the Canton of Valais and will be open for visitors in Sion from 23 September to 15 December 2023.
The opening event on 22 September will kick-off at 17:00 with a reception and welcoming words by our Time Machine Ambassador and President of the Valais Wallis Timemachine, Alain Dubois, as well as from Géraldine Gianadda, Coordinator of the Presidential College of the Constitutional Council and Fabienne Lutz-Studer, Cantonal Archivist and Director of the State Archives of the Canton of Valais. At 17:30 you may enjoy an aperitif and a guided tour through the exhibition by the project initiators.
