We are delighted to share that Juha Henriksson, our Time Machine RFC Editor and Finnish Time Machine Ambassador, has been elected as a member to the Europeana Network Association (ENA) Members Council. Out of 53 candidates, nine new councillors, including Juha, have been chosen to serve on the council for the next three years.
I want to promote Europeana and its mission through my broad and diverse networks. I have expertise and long experience in both cultural heritage and information technology, and I am involved as chair or member of numerous groups that could promote Europeana’s goals and versatile cooperation in many areas such as description, digitization, digital preservation, impact, and copyright. My diverse networks also help to establish local hubs for the data space for cultural heritage in Finland.
