The Digitisation, Cultural Heritage and Smart Tourism Info Day and Matchmaking Event will focus on funding opportunities across a wide range of EU funding programmes in the period 2021-2027. This event is organised jointly by S3 Pilot Action on Virtual and Smart Cultural Tourism (S3 VSCT Pilot), TMO, ERRIN, and Thuringia Region.
What to expect?
Calls for proposals under Horizon Europe-Cluster 2 Culture, Creativity and Inclusive society, as well as the European Innovation Council (EIC), Single Market Programme and Interregional Innovation Investment (I3) funding instrument will be covered in the event. Speakers from the European Commission are invited to present the programmes and funding opportunities.
The event is divided into two parts. An information session will be followed by a matchmaking session.
First, funding opportunities cutting-across different EU-funding programmes will be introduced by the speakers from the European Commission. In the matchmaking part participants can arrange one-on-one meetings amongst themselves to discuss cooperation possibilities and find potential partners for future consortia.
This virtual event shall help participants to get prepared for the calls for proposals offered through a wide range of European funding schemes concerning digitisation, cultural heritage and smart tourism.

It is open to any potential applicant from Europe. Researchers, innovators, experts and professionals from universities, research centres, public authorities, SMEs, industry, cultural institutions, GLAM sector, NGOs, etc. can register to learn about different funding opportunities offered on European level and can meet potential partners.
