Time: 10.00-17.00 o´clock
Venue: Dipartimento di Studi Umanistici, Malcanton Marcorà, Dorsoduro 3484/D, 30123 Venice
Since the beginnings of the Time Machine project, the Ca ‘Foscari University in Venice has been a key partner in the project consortium. As founding member and member of the Executive Board, the Ca ‘Foscari University continuously helps steer and advance the overall Time Machine project.
Initially, the Venetian Ca ‘Foscari University started out with five pilot projects within the context of Time Machine. This workshop aims at evaluating the progress of these pilot projects and will present further digital projects carried out by teachers affiliated with Ca ‘Foscari and associated with Venice.
The workshop will be rounded off by a round table discussion examining the opportunities for future cooperation between the involved institutions: the Venice Centre for Digital and Public Humanities (VeDPH), the European Centre for Living Technology (ECLT) and the Instituto Italiano di Technologia (iit) as well as additional internal and external partners and projects. The main focus will lie on how a single infrastructure for data sets can be developed by VeDPH in cooperation with the IT and Telecommunications Services Area (ASIT) of the Ca ‘Foscari University.
