The Representation of the Free State of Thuringia to the European Union serves as a link between the Thuringian State Ministries and the European institutions. The office represents the interests of Thuringia towards the EU institutions and provides a platform for the Thuringian government in Brussels.
On 26 March the two working groups ICT and Tourism & Cultural Heritage of the European Regions Research and Innovation Network (ERRIN) organise a joint meeting at the State Chancelley of Thuringia in Brussels. This meeting focuses on ongoing initiatives digitising European cultural heritage.
Our German Time Machine Ambassador Sander Münster (junior professor for Digital Humanities at the Friedrich Schiller University Jena) has the pleasure to introduce our initiative within this work group meeting together with Iason Jongepier (University of Antwerp) who will offer insights into the progress of the Antwerp Time Machine. The meeting will be rounded off by a presentation by a representative of the European Commission on the opportunities for synergies in the cultural heritage sector in view of digitisation.
